About Srishti

SRISHTI, Creativity in Nature, is the first Nature magazine in English and Hindi out of Asia. Consisting of glossy pictorials and reader friendly text, SRISHTI is published approximately once every quarter. Being feature-based and with no date imprinted, all issues have an infinite ‘shelf-life’ with repeat exposure among visitors to subscribers’ homes. Printed on high-quality chlorine-free art-paper, it incorporates a separate GREEN LEAVES section printed on wood-free paper to pursue the more actionable areas of immediate environmental concern.

With a target of 47,000 copies with a high secondary circulation in the range of 850,000 readers, SRISHTI is enjoyed by an audience of CEO’s and other corporate personae, senior government officials, adventure-travel enthusiasts, students and well appointed coffee tables around the country. AIR INDIA buys copies in bulk every month for in-flight reading on domestic and international flights.

Pro-environment hotels like the Taj, Hyatt and the Elite properties of the Ashok group, place SRISHTI in their suites and common areas for their guests. Select organisations who have a stated position on the Environment, are sending out SRISHTI to exclusive corporate circles. We have also made special offers to members of the WWF-India and members of prestigious credit-card services like Diners Club and CentralCard and frequent-fliers on INDIAN AIRLINES/AIR INDIA.

The Ministry of External Affairs is sending copies to all missions abroad and also use them as gifts from select embassies. Over the years, the Ministry of Environment & Forests has subscribed to SRISHTI for distribution to policy makers in various departments as well as parks, project and district offices. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra has also sent out subscriptions to where they will make an impact. The Department of Tourism, India, stocks SRISHTI in its offices in India and abroad for selective distribution.

— THE TIMES OF INDIA

Primarily by journalists and lay-people, rather than naturalists, the generally well-written articles contain only a dash of environmentalist ideology . . . this unique approach will be popular . . . the emphasis on pictures and easy-to-read text makes it suitable for schools and public libraries.
